Motion & Animation Studio

Studio-Grade Animation & Motion

2D animation, explainer films, animated brand identity, and product motion produced on a professional studio pipeline.

Motion & Animation Studio

Motion is the highest-retention medium on the web — and most agencies outsource it. We don’t. Our in-house studio produces broadcast-quality 2D animation, explainer films, animated logos, and product motion on a professional pipeline (the same open-source toolchain trusted by major animation studios), so your brand moves with the polish of a film and the precision of a product.

The Slate

Six Things The Studio Produces

Every format below is written, designed, animated, scored, and delivered by the same in-house team. Nothing is subcontracted and nothing starts from a template.

Explainer Films

Sixty to one hundred and twenty seconds that make a complicated offer obvious. Built script-first: if the words do not carry the idea without visuals, we rewrite before anyone opens a drawing tool.

2D Character Animation

Rigged and hand-keyed character work on a real animation pipeline — posed, timed, and cleaned up frame by frame. This is the capability almost no marketing agency has and it is why our films do not look like everyone else’s.

RiggingKeyframeCleanup

Animated Identity

Logo builds, endcaps, transitions, and lower thirds delivered as a kit rather than a one-off file. Your team gets the source, the timing curves, and the rules for using them.

Logo buildEndcapKit

Product & UI Motion

Interface animation that shows the product doing the thing, rebuilt at high resolution rather than screen-recorded. Ideal for launches, demos, and anything a sales team has to present on a large screen.

Social & Ad Cuts

One production, many cuts. Vertical, square, and wide masters with burned-in captions, hook variants isolated for testing, and durations built to each platform’s actual drop-off curve.

Motion Systems

A documented language for how your brand moves: easing curves, duration scales, entrance and exit rules, and a component library your web and product teams implement directly in code.

Why It Matters

Outsourced Motion Is Why Most Brand Films Look The Same

The standard agency arrangement is a brief thrown over a wall to a freelancer or a marketplace vendor, with two rounds of notes and no shared understanding of the brand.

What comes back is competent and forgettable: the same stock character library, the same easing defaults, the same three transitions. It fails quietly — the film is fine, it just does not make anyone feel anything, and it is never the reason a deal moves.

Keeping animation in house changes the economics of iteration. When the animator sits next to the strategist who wrote the script and the media buyer watching the retention curve, a weak second act gets fixed on a Tuesday afternoon rather than in a change order three weeks later.

What in-house actually buys you

Revisions in days, not billing cycles

Notes go straight to the person holding the file.

Original design, not a template library

Characters and systems drawn for your brand and owned by you.

Performance data feeds the edit

Drop-off at eleven seconds becomes a re-cut, not a footnote.

Assets that keep working

Scenes are built modular, so next quarter’s film reuses this quarter’s rigs.

The Pipeline

Four Gates, One Approval Each

Animation gets expensive when direction changes late. Our pipeline front-loads every decision that is cheap to change and locks it before it becomes costly.

Story

Week 1. Strategy session, script, and voice direction. You approve words on a page — the cheapest possible place to be wrong about the whole film.

Boards

Week 2. Style frames set the visual language, then a full storyboard. Once boards are signed off, composition and pacing are locked.

Animatic

Week 3. Boards cut to scratch voice and temp music. You watch the actual film in rough form and confirm the timing before any frame is animated.

Animate

Weeks 4–5. Full animation, design finish, sound design, and mix. Two rounds of notes are built into the schedule, then every deliverable format is mastered.

Delivery specification

What lands in your drive on the final day.

Masters in every ratio

Wide, square, and vertical cut from one production, plus a caption-burned set.

Web-optimized encodes

Compressed for real page-weight budgets so a hero film does not cost you a second of load time.

Vector animation for interfaces

Lightweight scene data for logos and UI motion — sharp at any size, kilobytes rather than megabytes.

Transcripts and caption files

Timed captions for accessibility and for the majority of viewers watching muted.

Editable project files

Rigs, scenes, and layered art handed over with a written structure guide. You own the source.

Craft & Toolchain

Built On A Real Studio Stack

We work on the open production toolchain used by feature animation teams, not on a browser-based template service.

That matters for two reasons. There is no ceiling on what can be produced — character rigs, three-dimensional camera moves, and simulated effects are all available when the story needs them. And there is no license lock: your project files open on any machine, forever, without a subscription in the way.

Every film is graded against the brand color system, so motion work matches the site, the deck, and the ad account instead of drifting a shade off.

Motion is the highest-retention format on the web and the least commoditized thing an agency can hand you. When it is produced properly it is also the asset that keeps returning value the longest.

Before You Brief Us

Practical Questions

Five to seven weeks for a full production from kickoff to final masters. Single deliverables run two to three weeks. The pipeline is gated, so delays almost always come from approval time on our side of the calendar rather than production time on ours.

No. Writing is part of the engagement and it is where most of the value is created. Bring the business objective, the audience, and the one thing you need someone to understand by the end. We handle the rest.

You do, in full, including editable source files, rigs, and layered artwork. Music and voice talent carry their own license terms, which we quote explicitly rather than burying in the total.

Two rounds are built into the schedule at defined gates: one on boards, one on the first animated pass. Because the animatic locks pacing before animation begins, structural changes rarely arrive late. When direction genuinely changes after that gate, we quote the delta before touching anything.

Yes. If you have a mature identity we work strictly inside it and deliver a motion extension of the existing system. If the identity is thin, we will say so and scope the branding work separately rather than paper over it with animation.

It will not. Web delivery is engineered alongside the film: adaptive encodes, poster frames, lazy playback, and vector formats for anything that can be drawn rather than filmed. Page performance is treated as a delivery requirement, not an afterthought.
